Daniel Scott relishes the hunt for the perfect apartment. His first experience working with a real estate agent in New York came when he set off to find an apartment in the East Village with two best friends.
From his search, he gained not only a great place to live, but also tremendous insight into the apartment search from the customer’s perspective.
The broker Daniel and his friends chose matched inventory to their needs, leveraged his strong relationships with landlords to give them a competitive edge and walked them through the paperwork process.
Impressed by the agent’s holistic approach to finding the perfect apartment, Daniel adopted the same attitude with his own clients, never forgetting what the apartment search is like from the customer’s perspective.
An expert in downtown Manhattan, Daniel often finds his clients their perfect apartment in just one or two days of apartment viewing.
Although originally from Houston, Texas, Daniel spent time growing up in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. He has also lived in Prague and Seattle in his adult life. He is certainly no stranger to moving. In New York, he has lived in Greenwich Village, the East Village, and Williamsburg. Since graduating from the NYU Stern School of Business, Daniel has written a novel, hitchhiked across France, interned for a senator in Washington D.C., worked as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and ridden as a bike messenger in New York City.
